Mental Health Awareness Month 1st-31st May

There are so many things that can contribute to a decline in our mental health, relationships, exams, work pressures, starting new jobs, retirement, moving home, health issues, grief, parenting and many more other life in general or life changing events.

According to studies conducted by the Mental Health Foundation, Anxiety is the most common mental health problem that people face, and a quarter of the adults who took part in the study have admitted that they have stopped doing things they want to do because their anxiety.
Even though anxiety is a normal feeling felt by all of us, it can become overwhelming and take over our lives.

There are many things we can do to help keep our mental health healthy. You just have to find the thing/s that work for you.
Some people find physical exercise helpful in times of a mental health crisis, while others finding meeting up with friends for a coffee and chat more beneficial.

Holistic treatments are a great way to de-stress and relax. Being in a more relaxed state can help our bodies natural healing abilities to come forth and balance the body as a whole.
